The thought of making Pesach looms for many as the single most challenging time of year. The expenses are enormous – and there are few cheap shortcuts. The families must have holiday basics; their children must not feel deprived or poor.Yet what’s a family to do when there is simply no money for food? Should they ration the matzah? Serve nothing but potatoes? Tell their teenagers to wear outdated or worn clothing?

Ezras Yisroel distributes funds that help families get through the chag. Recipient families include widows and orphans, bnei Torah, families dealing with physical or emotional illness and others. Every family is referred by a rav who vouches for their need.
