Whereas several distinguished, young scholars, members of our Kollel in Mesivta Torah Vodaas established a chesed fund entitled Ezras Yisroel who devote their precious time to assist the needy who are impoverished and crushed by the lack of sufficient means of financial support. Among them are several individuals who are former students of our holy Yeshiva who do not have an established and adequate livelihood. There are also many distinguished Torah Scholars (Talmidei Chachomim) who are in dire straits. The aforementioned dedicated young men share in their plight and see it as their duty to alleviate their pressing burdens.

Therefore, I respectfully request from my friends and brethren to accept and welcome these worthy volunteers with generosity. Now that the days of Purim are approaching, a time which is dedicated to Matanos L'evyonim. I beseech of you to support the Ezras Yisroel Fund, the worthy and precious chesed fund that operates throughout the year. Their hearts are always open to feel the pain of their fellow Jews. One can fulfill the mitzvah of Matonas L'evyonim through Ezaras Yisroel since the esteemed trustees will distribute the money on the day of Purim.

May it be the will of the Al-Mighty that in the merit of "charity and chesed" we will merit the fulfillment of
